China also owns the largest and longest wall in the world: The Great Wall of China! It is one of the seven wonders of the medieval world along with Stonehenge, Colosseum, Catacombs of Kom El Shoqafa, Porcelain Tower of Nanjing, Hagia Sofia and the Leaning Tower of Piza. There are also seven wonders of the ancient and modern world. The wall is 50,000 km (31,000 miles) long and takes roughly 5 days to cross. The wall is a series of different walls and each wall was built by a different emperor of China. The series of walls are known as the First, Second, Third and Fourth Great Wall. The Great Wall of China is the only landmark on earth that people can see from space...says Neil Armstrong!
